- What are the most common Alteryx use cases and how to identify them
- How to qualify an Alteryx use case, ensuring that the development effort is worth the value received

- What are data types and how to apply them
- Inputting data into Alteryx
- Preparing and cleansing data

- Joining data together
- Preparing reports and outputting data
- Best practices with workflow documentation and governance
By the end of this course all students will be able to begin to deliver value with Alteryx Designer.

(1) General Knowledge (30 mins/20 questions)
(2) Data Preparation 45 mins/40 questions)
(3) Data Manipulation (45 mins/30 questions)
(4) Data Transformation (1 hour, 30 questions) -
The course is split up into 4 areas of study:
- A complete overview of the Alteryx Designer configuration options
- In-depth data preparation and cleansing
- Advanced data joining techniques
- Data transformation and reporting
It is recommended that anyone within an organisation that is building production Alteryx workflows should attend this course to ensure that they understand and follow all of the Alteryx development best practices.
