Your Alteryx workflows could win you a place at Inspire 2027 - here's how
If you have been using Alteryx to get your organisation ready for AI - cleaning up data sources, building governance frameworks, connecting pipelines to large language models, or automating the kind of preparation work that makes AI actually usable - Alteryx wants to hear about it.
They have just launched the Alteryx AI Readiness Contest, and the prize for the best entry is a full pass to Alteryx Inspire 2027 in Orlando. Entries close 20th October 2026, which means you have a few weeks to put something together.
This is worth your time. Here is why.
What the contest is actually asking for
The premise is straightforward. Submit a short demo video - around two minutes, no longer than five - showing how you are using Alteryx to get your organisation AI-ready. Alongside the video, you write a 600-900 word description of your use case.
That is it.
No polished presentation. No strategy document. Just your actual workflow, with dummy data, showing real work you are already doing.
The kinds of use cases Alteryx are looking for include:
Cleaning and standardising messy data sources ahead of AI integration
Building data governance frameworks for LLMs like Gemini or Claude
Creating preparation pipelines for custom models
Using Alteryx's own AI capabilities to speed up or automate workflows
Running Alteryx One: Google Edition to connect into BigQuery, Gemini, or Vertex AI
If you are a Continuum client and have been working with us on any of these things, there is a good chance you already have something worth submitting.
What judges are looking for
Entries are judged by a three-person panel covering customer marketing, product and professional services, and community - so every submission gets assessed from a business, technical, and community perspective.
The four criteria, weighted equally, are:
Real business impact. A clear before-and-after, ideally with numbers - time saved, cost reduced, risk mitigated, or revenue enabled. This is the criterion where Continuum clients tend to have strong material. If you can say "this used to take three days and now takes 20 minutes," that is exactly what they want to hear.
Genuine AI readiness. Evidence that you are building something repeatable and well-governed, not a one-off experiment. Structured workflows, consistent data pipelines, documented logic - the kind of foundations we always push for.
Meaningful use of Alteryx. Alteryx should play a real role in preparing data, powering, or scaling the use case. Peripheral use will not score as well as something where Alteryx is genuinely central to the work.
A clear, compelling workflow demo. Show the actual workflow in action. Not a slide deck. Not a description of what you built. The real thing, running.
Community voting also plays a role in the Community Impact criterion - so sharing your entry once it is submitted does matter.
The prizes
1st place: A full complimentary pass to Alteryx Inspire 2027 in Orlando, Florida (valued at approximately $1,500), plus Alteryx swag
2nd and 3rd place: Half-price passes to Inspire 2027 (valued at approximately $750 each), plus Alteryx swag
Winning entries may also be featured at Inspire itself - which is a meaningful piece of visibility if you are building a profile in the Alteryx community.
Key dates
Entries open: 9th September 2026
Entries close: 20th October 2026 at 11:59pm ET
Community voting: 21st - 28th October 2026
Judging: 29th October - 5th November 2026
Winner announced: on or around 6th November 2026
How to enter
Record a demo video of your Alteryx workflow (using dummy data only) and upload it to YouTube or Vimeo
Head to the contest landing page and fill out the entry form
Include your video link and a 600-900 word written description of your use case
You need to be a registered Alteryx Community member and an active Alteryx customer. Teams of up to three people can enter together, and you can submit more than one entry.
Worth entering? We think so.
The honest answer is that most of the work required for a strong entry is work our clients have already done. The before-and-after is real. The time savings are documented. The workflows exist and are running.
The only question is whether you take an hour to record a short video of it and write up what you built.
If you would like help thinking through what use case to submit, how to frame the business impact, or how to structure the written description, get in touch. We work with this material every day and are happy to help you put together something compelling.
The deadline is 20th October. There is enough time - but not a lot of it.
