Our Annual 2025 Big Data London Team Trip

Last week we headed to London for one of the biggest events in the data calendar, Big Data London (BDL). It was a packed few days of learning, sharing, networking, and celebrating, with some major milestones achieved along the way.

A Warm Welcome at Alteryx

We kicked things off with a visit to the Alteryx London office, where we were welcomed by Alteryx CEO Andy MacMillan, for an insightful presentation on the future of the platform and the ecosystem around it. A great way to set the tone for the days ahead.

Quiz Night Champions! (Almost)

The evening saw team members from Continuum, Alteryx, Coalesce, and Savant join forces for the legendary Fulham pub quiz. After some fierce competition (and a couple of déjà vu moments), we proudly landed second place… again! Maybe next year the kudos will finally be ours (and the cash prize).

Taking the Stage at Big Data London

BDL itself was buzzing with ideas and innovations, and we were proud to have our team right at the heart of the action.

  • Vikram presented on Generative AI for Alteryx at the Alteryx stand, sharing practical insights on how GenAI can supercharge analytics workflows. He highlighted the unforgiving nature of AI, and how using Alteryx as the clearing house can pave the way to real actionable insights.

  • Chris also took to the stage at the Coalesce stand (you may have seen our dedicated blog post about his session already). His demonstration showed how data teams can speed up development cycles, cut down on manual effort, and keep complete transparency across their operations by harnessing the combined power of Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, and Coalesce.

Partnerships Signed and Sealed

One of the biggest successes of the trip was finalising some exciting new partnerships that will strengthen our ecosystem and accelerate innovation for our clients. These new collaborations mark an exciting step forward, and we’re hugely optimistic about what the future holds as we continue building powerful solutions together.

Chris and Dan signed a Microsoft Fabric automation partnership with Glen and Lotte from Coalesce.

Dan also finalised a new partnership with Cheetan and Olly from Jiva.AI, paving the way for future collaboration.

Wrapping Up in Style

After a few packed days of talks, meetings, and networking, the team wrapped up the trip with a fantastic evening of dinner, golf, and drinks alongside the Alteryx Partner Team and guests (Dan and Matteo took it upon themselves to give some “expert” lessons, which may or may not have made things better). It was the perfect way to celebrate a brilliant few days of collaboration and connection.

Until Next Year…

Big Data London gave us plenty to celebrate: new partnerships, great presentations, and some memorable moments with our partners and friends. We can’t wait to see what next year brings (and maybe, just maybe, a pub quiz victory).
