Showcasing Innovation: Coalesce Fabric Integration Demonstrated at Big Data London 2025
We’re proud to share how our team has been pioneering the use of the newly released Coalesce integration for Microsoft Fabric, culminating in a live end-to-end demonstration at Big Data London 2025, hosted at the Coalesce stall.
Bringing Together Alteryx, Fabric, and Coalesce
Our solution showcased the power of combining best-in-class tools:
• Alteryx was used to ingest and prepare data, seamlessly loading it into Microsoft Fabric.
• Once the data landed in Fabric, we triggered a Coalesce pipeline refresh job via API, kicking off a fully automated transformation workflow.
• The result: a streamlined, governed, and highly scalable data pipeline from raw ingestion to business-ready insights.
Live Demo Highlights
Visitors to the Coalesce stall witnessed:
• Alteryx-driven ingestion into Fabric’s Lakehouse.
• Automated pipeline orchestration using Coalesce’s API.
• Visual data modelling and transformation within Coalesce.
• End-to-end lineage and governance, all within the Fabric ecosystem.
This demonstration illustrated how data teams can accelerate development cycles, reduce manual overhead, and maintain full transparency across their data operations.
Why This Matters
The integration of Coalesce with Fabric—enhanced by Alteryx’s ingestion capabilities—represents a major leap forward in modern data engineering. It empowers teams to:
• Build robust pipelines with minimal code.
• Maintain agility across tools and platforms.
• Ensure data quality and governance at scale.
Looking Ahead
We’re continuing to explore advanced use cases, including metadata-driven development and AI-enhanced data quality. The response at Big Data London was incredibly encouraging, and we’re excited to bring these innovations into production.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the modern data stack.
